Unique engine
At the heart of the 2024 E-Transit is a new 89 kWh high-voltage lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery, offering an estimated range of 254 kilometres, an increase of 51 kilometres since last year. However, the basic battery remains available for certain versions. Recharging speed has also been improved. In theory, it would take 15 minutes with a rapid charger of over 180 kilowatts to recover 107 kilometres of range. If you use the Ford Pro Series 2 charging station, it will take 6 hours, allowing you to get back on the road quickly and efficiently. What's more, its intelligent design places the battery under the vehicle body, preserving the utility space so coveted by professionals.

But the 2024 E-Transit isn't just eco-friendly, it's also extremely versatile. Available in three lengths, three roof heights (low, medium, high) and three models (utility van, chassis cab and cutaway van), this vehicle can be adapted to a multitude of needs and applications. Comfort at the wheel
Beyond its impressive performance and functionality, the 2024 Ford E-Transit also stands out for its interesting driving dynamics. It features a unique engine and rear-wheel drive. With 266 hp, it loses a few horses to its gasoline-powered sibling, but its 317 lb-ft of torque far exceeds the 262 lb-ft of the gasoline engine. And the savings achieved by using electricity are well worth the detour. What's more, the torque is available right from the start, making it more responsive to movement. The E-Transit's suspension system has also been modified to improve handling.
